God Is Still Working in the Waiting

By

Isaiah 40:31 (NIV)

“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength…”

Waiting often feels like stillness, but in God’s economy, waiting is never wasted. Scripture shows us repeatedly that God works deeply during seasons that feel quiet, delayed, or uncertain.

In Isaiah 40, God speaks to a weary people—exhausted by delay, confusion, and fear. The promise isn’t instant relief; it’s renewed strength. Strength that comes from trusting Him when movement feels slow.

Waiting doesn’t mean God is absent. It means He is preparing—reshaping endurance, deepening faith, and anchoring our identity in Him rather than outcomes.

Healing doesn’t always arrive quickly. Sometimes it arrives steadily, quietly, and faithfully. God meets us in the middle of the process, not just at the finish line.

Prayer:
Lord, help me to trust You in the waiting. Renew my strength when I feel tired, and remind me that You are still working—even when I cannot see it. Amen. Be encouraged my dear friends.
